Job Summary

The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily business activities, workforce management, ensuring operational efficiency, manage escalated events including review of postmortem process and aligning processes with organizational goals. This role is pivotal in managing teams, optimizing workflows, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Delegate tasks to supervisors while overseeing daily operational transactions such as but not limited to:
    • Organizing employees’ shift schedule
    • Monitoring of hourly and daily traffic rates. Use available data and experience to understand the root cause of traffic spikes that may affect the wider business.
  • Performance Management
    • Overseeing and guiding supervisors in completing probationary employees’ 5th month reviews
    • Coordinate and lead Performance Management strategies of supervisors covering, coaching, incident reporting, appraising performance, executing disciplinary actions, and drafting and executing Performance Improvement Plans.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and report opportunities for process improvements and be able to execute them.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Monitor adherence to operational legal regulations and quality standards.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to align operational objectives. Analyze business data, submit regular performance reports, and regularly advise top management
  • Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) of the team and generate reports for senior management.
  • Reporting: Utilize all available events to write accurate reports for internal review. The reports are to be presented to top management.
  • Foster a Positive Team Culture: Promote a supportive and inclusive work environment by encouraging open communication, recognizing team achievements, and addressing concerns promptly to maintain high levels of morale and engagement.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience managing a team of at least 50 employees.
  • College graduate of any 4-year course
  • Experience working with technology organizations, preferably with a background in basic network configuration and trouble shooting.
  • Results-oriented and data-driven personality
  • Expert or Native-level English Language skills
  • At least 5 years of experience working with US-based organizations with in-depth familiarity with US culture
  • Hands-on and ownership attitude
  • Willingness to work onsite with flexible shifting schedules to accommodate all shifts. The Manager is expected to work a minimum of 2-3 shifts/week to keep them in touch with the work of the team.

This is a critical leadership role in a fast-scaling organization. We’re looking for someone reliable, respected, and ready to handle the complexities of operations and enforcement.

Work Arrangements:
  • Onsite work
  • Shifting schedule
  • Based in Metro Manila, with regular travel to provincial business site
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Earn up to Php 150,000 monthly gross
  • Up to 200,000 MBL of HMO including 2 dependents upon hire
