Compensation and Benefits Analyst
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Administration
- Process end-to-end payroll for all employees on a semi-monthly/monthly basis.
- Ensure timely and accurate computation of salaries, deductions, overtime, and other earnings in compliance with labor standards.
- Validate and upload payroll reports and coordinate with Finance for funding and disbursement.
- Handle off-cycle payroll for back pay, final pay, and adjustments.
- Administer and process government-mandated benefits including SSS, PhilHealth, PagIBIG, and BIR (tax) reporting and remittances.
- Manage company-initiated benefits such as health insurance (HMO), allowances, and leave benefits.
- Coordinate employee enrollment, claims, and inquiries with benefit providers and government agencies.
- Take the lead in compensation benchmarking, salary surveys, and internal salary structure reviews.
- Take the lead in annual performance-based increases, bonuses, and other compensation programs.
- Generate reports and analytics to support compensation decisions.
- Ensure all payroll and benefits-related practices comply with DOLE standards, BIR regulations, and Data Privacy Act.
- Maintain and update employee compensation records and benefits documents securely.
- Assist in internal and external audits and regulatory inspections (e.g., DOLE, BIR).
- Respond to employee inquiries on payroll and benefits in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct orientation for new hires on compensation and benefits.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accountancy, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 4-5 years of experience in payroll and/or compensation and benefits administration.
- Knowledge of Philippine labor laws, DOLE, BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG processes.
- Experience with payroll software or HRIS
- Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
