Position Summary 

The Music Content Assistant supports the preparation, organization, and integration of song content within the MusoLingo learning system. This role ensures that song assets, such as lyrics, metadata, and files, are accurately formatted, organized, and ready for platform ingestion. Working closely with the music production and product teams, the role also performs quality checks and helps maintain consistency across the song content pipeline. 

Roles & Responsibilities 

• Format and prepare song lyrics for the MusoLingo Learning Matrix™ 

• Organize and maintain song files, vocal keys, and metadata 

• Align content to backend schemas (IDs, timestamps, level mapping) 

• Perform spreadsheet-to-system data entry and validation 

• Conduct basic QA checks on files, naming conventions, and metadata 

• Assist with bug reporting and provide clear reproducible notes for developers 

Qualifications 

• Passion for music with basic training and ability to read notation; professional experience not required 

• Tech-savvy with at least 1 year of work experience, preferably in a coding environment or using AI tools; quick to learn new software and other digital platforms 

• Experience in music production, content management, QA or tech operations is a plus 

• Familiarity with JSON or structured data is helpful but not required 

• Organized, reliable, and methodical in managing files and data, including spreadsheets and documents  

• A college degree is also not required; candidates from technical institutions may be considered 

• Strong attention to detail, logical thinking and communication skills 

• Flexible to a hybrid work setup (1 day onsite, 4 days work-from-home)
