Compensation Associate
About the Role
We are looking for a Compensation Associate to support the Compensation team with operational and administrative work. This role focuses on accurate data handling, process support, and coordination across compensation activities such as equity processing, survey submissions, and compensation cycles support.Key Responsibilities
● Provide day-to-day operational support for compensation processes (equity, merit, and related activities).
● Maintain and update compensation trackers and exception logs.
● Prepare and generate compensation letters using templates.
● Support data validation and quality checks before uploads to production systems.
● Assist with compensation survey submissions and related data preparation.
● Support vendor and procurement activities (renewals, invoices, payments) related to compensation tools.
● Monitor and maintain routine updates needed for compensation processes (e.g., FX rates, calculating promotion equity grants).
● Prepare, organize, and split files as needed for compensation processes and reporting.
● Coordinate with People Ops, HRIS, and Payroll to support compensation operations.
Qualifications
● 1–3 years of experience in HR operations, compensation support, finance operations, payroll support, or a similar role.
● Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or Human Resources or any related course
● Strong attention to detail and comfort working with structured data and checklists.
● Proficient in Excel / Google Sheets (filters, pivots, lookups, graphs, etc.).
● Able to follow defined processes, meet deadlines, and manage recurring tasks.
● Experience with HR systems is a plus (Workday preferred).
● Clear communicator and collaborative team member.
● Clear written communication and ability to escalate issues when data looks incorrect or incomplete.
Preferred
● Familiarity with compensation terms (salary ranges, merit, bonus, equity).
● Experience working with survey data or tools (Radford/Mercer) in a support capacity.
