Position Summary:
The Team Lead is responsible for overseeing and guiding a team to ensure the effective execution of workforce management strategies. This role ensures that daily operations are carried out efficiently, safely, and in alignment with quality care standards. The Team Lead coordinates work assignments, monitors team performance, supports resource planning, and addresses operational challenges to meet service targets. In addition, this position serves as a liaison between staff and leadership to promote collaboration, continuous improvement, and accountability in the delivery of care and operational excellence.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Team Oversight and Leadership
- Supervise and guide the day-to-day activities of Workforce Specialists to ensure smooth execution of scheduling, staffing, and real – time monitoring functions.
- Serve as the escalation point of contact for complex staffing issues, conflicts, or gaps that require immediate or strategic adjustments.
- Ensure team alignment with organizational priorities and service line requirements across all virtual care programs.
- Workforce Planning and Resource Optimization
- Collaborate with Leadership to forecast staffing needs and align workforce resources with business demand and contractual service levels
- Identify trends in staffing, attendance, or resource utilization and make data-driven recommendations for adjustments.
- Performance Management & Team Development
- Monitor performance metrics related to scheduling accuracy, shift fulfillment, and SLA adherence; use insights to coach and develop team members.
- Conduct regular check-ins, feedback sessions, and performance reviews for direct reports.
- Foster a high-performance culture by recognizing strong contributors and addressing gaps in accountability or quality
- Cross-Functional Communication & Coordination
- Act as the central coordination point between workforce team, clinical operations, and department leaders to ensure proactive staffing decisions and responsive support.
- Communicate regular updates, staffing risks, and mitigation plans to leadership with clarity and confidence.
- Receive and route incoming calls from hospital facilities affiliated with Banyan to the appropriate department or team
- Participate in meetings, planning sessions, and operational huddles to represent workforce operations and provide strategic input.
Qualifications:
- College graduate of any 4-year course
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Lead in workforce management role
- Proficient in workforce management tools, scheduling platforms, and timekeeping systems
- Strong analytical skills: ability to interpret and act on real-time data and performance metrics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and comfort navigating dashboards and reporting tools.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to coordinate across multiple levels and functions.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, especially in high-pressure or time-sensitive situations.
- Highly organized with a keen attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
- Willing to work on site (Makati and/or Pasig City)
- Willing to work on shifting schedule (24/7 operation)
- Earn up to 70,000 depending on the experience
