Global Accounts Payable Manager
We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Global Accounts Payable Manager to lead our worldwide AP operations.
This role is critical in managing our financial commitments across our primary hubs in the US and Israel, as well as our global vendor base. You will be responsible for streamlining the procure-to-pay process, ensuring compliance with international tax regulations, and leveraging technology to scale our finance operations.
Key Responsibilities
● Global AP Management: Oversee the full-cycle Accounts Payable process for US and Israel entities, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
● Provide oversight of the non-vendor purchases such as travel and expense and virtual credit card administration.
● Cross-Border Operations: Manage multi-currency payments and understand the nuances of funding international subsidiaries.
● Compliance & Tax: Ensure compliance with US GAAP and local Israeli statutory requirements. Manage Form 1099 reporting in the US and handle Withholding Tax (WHT) requirements for Israeli and international vendors.
● Process Optimization: Own the Accounts Payable internal control environment and ensure the Accounts Payable team is trained and knowledgeable of any processing impacts to controls.
● Process Improvement: Identify continuous improvement opportunities to streamline processes such as account reconciliations, accruals and credit card reconciliations.
● Vendor Relations: Serve as the primary point of escalation for global vendor inquiries and maintain strong relationships with key service providers.
● Audit & Internal Controls: Maintain rigorous internal controls over the AP cycle to prevent fraud and ensure successful year-end audits. Lead the preparation of AP-related schedules for auditors.
● Cash Flow Management: Collaborate with the Treasury/Finance team to provide accurate weekly cash disbursement forecasts.
● Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and guide direct report(s), fostering a high-performance, collaborative Accounts Payable team.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Experience: 7+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience, with at least 3 years in a management capacity within a global organization.
- Systems Proficiency: Advanced experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or Oracle) and automated AP platforms (e.g., Tipalti, MineralTree, or Bill.com).
- Regulatory Savvy: Strong understanding of US 1099/1042-S reporting and international W-8/W-9 requirements.
- Sector Knowledge: Previous experience in the Cybersecurity or SaaS industry is highly preferred.
- International Expertise: Direct experience managing AP for Israeli entities, including familiarity with Israeli VAT and tax deduction at source.
- Experience working in a private, high-growth environment (500–1,000 employees).
- Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) for data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to work across time zones (periodic alignment with the Israel-based finance team).
- Work from home set up after onsite training in One Ayala Makati city
- Shift Schedule: 12:00am to 9:00am Manila time; overlap to PST hours
- 90,000 to P 120,000 depending on the experience
