Job Summary

The Human Resource Generalist supports the implementation and administration of HR policies, procedures, and processes in the areas of, but not limited to recruitment and selection, benefits and compensation, performance management and employee relations. The role also supports corporate values and a positive work culture. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws and regulations. 

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
 
  • Partner with Global HR team to develop, communicate and administer various policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and support to leadership in areas such as policy administration and employee relations.  
  • Handle all employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary action
  • Conducts investigation on cases prior to all steps within the PIP process, including the final notice of decision before termination
  • Manage escalated concerns of labor issues filed in SENA and DOLE
  • Stay informed about changes in labor laws and regulations and ensure compliance with statutory requirements in the Philippines
  • Prepare/issue regularization letter, certificate of employment and acceptance form
  • Develop & deliver employee communications and announcements for PH employees and leaders using PH HR services
  • Facilitate/assist in HR Orientation for new hires.
  • Work with local broker and Carrier to provide guidance and support to employees in regard to benefits availment, enrollment, and claims issues
  • Update of enrollees and dependents, resigned employees HMO and life, accident insurance
  • Respond to employees’ inquiries via the PH HR inbox; providing recommendations to HR head for review and support for complex matters
  • Advocate for PH culture and engagement activities
  • HRIS system management and data entry and report generation

Qualifications
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or any other related course
  • Minimum of 3 -5 years of previous experience in Human Resources, particularly in Employee Relations
  • In-depth knowledge of Philippine labor law and statutory practices
  • Excellent English oral and written communication skills with confidence in dealing with employees at all levels
  • Able to build effective professional relationship across the organizations and employees
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and with keen attention to detail.  Excellent attention and orientation toward meticulous work
  • Experience in ADP Workforce Now preferred
